The family celebrates marriage
Deke is grateful to be in attendance at the wedding while Donna and Katie shower praises on Hope for representing the best side of Logan women. Deacon is happy to see his kids together. Bill further speaks a few words about Liam, mentioning that he inspired him to bring Katie back into his life. Brooke congratulates the couple, with the family then enjoying and appreciating Liam and Hope’s reunion in their own way. Following Liam and Hope’s individual toasts, the couple then receives wide applause and proceeds to cut the cake.
Ridge and Eric share an important conversation
Taylor informs Steffy about the rest of her day off, and then they share a conversation about Ridge’s decision regarding Eric’s retirement. They discuss that Eric’s retirement was not at all a power move and that the father-son should eventually sort the matter out within themselves. Meanwhile, at Forrester, Ridge apologizes for forcing his father into retirement and requests that if he wants to willingly stay in the business, he can. Eric shocks him by saying no, revealing that he will give retirement a try. He is proud not only of his collection but also of Ridge taking the responsibility of running the company.
Eric is proud of Ridge
Ridge now doesn’t want Eric to leave the company and urges him to stay. However, Eric reveals that he doesn’t know what he wants for himself for now, but wishes to see him and Brooke run the company. Ridge remains in guilt that he didn’t treat Eric with respect, but the latter expresses that he’s satisfied with him and Steffy taking care of his business. Their conversation concludes with Eric revealing that he’s proud of his son for managing the business, and they further express their love for one another.
Bill proposes to Katie
Brooke can’t believe that Hope is now happily remarried to Liam. Bill takes Katie into a corner, describing how the Spencer men are winning at love. He goes on his knees and proposes to Katie to be his wife.
