Should Carly be worried?
Jack presents Carly with a necklace for the holidays and asks where she’s spending most of her time. She gives him a vague reason, prompting him to change the conversation to Valentin. He confides in her about Lulu not letting him talk to Charlotte, but Carly replies that he’s trying to keep her daughter safe.
After Jack leaves, Valentin shows up. When she shares about Jack’s concerns about Charlotte, Valentin says that he’s just manipulating her. Upon asking, Carly recounts how she sought Jack’s help amid Jason’s FBI blackmail. He then speculates that he may use that favor against her in the future.
Jack threatens Lulu
Lulu confides in Nathan about her worries that Charlotte might ultimately choose her dad over her mother, but he reassures her. Moments later, Jack shows up, insisting on talking to Charlotte. When Lulu refuses, he threatens to arrest her.
Nathan then interrupts and asks him to leave since he doesn’t have a warrant. On this way out, Jack warns Lulu about trusting Nathan and reminds her of his last name.
Britt and Brad catch up
At Café Cherrie, Brad questions Britt about her whereabouts during the two years she was missing. She tells him everything that happened and how she ended up working for Sidwell. He also asks whether there is still something between her and Jason, which she denies. After they have their dinner, both worry, realizing they don’t have the money to pay for it.
Anna gets a delivery
Pascal brings food for Anna, who’s still in captivity and is still unaware of her kidnappers. Under the tray, she discovers a package. It’s a novel, inscribed with “For my muse -C,” potentially linking it to Cesar Faison.
Jason seeks Joss’s help
Jason secretly meets Joss and asks for details on Britt’s troubles with Sidwell and Dalton. She refuses to share any information, worrying about the consequences. He assures her that he’ll keep her safe no matter what.
Tense court proceedings
Tracy testifies that she was at Drew’s place to confront him, but denies seeing Willow there. Later, Nina comes on the stand and admits that she voluntarily staged an alibi for her daughter, citing that she was trying to protect her.
Later, Dante testifies on why they think Willow is the shooter. When Turner tries to submit a recorded clip of the traffic cam footage, Alexis objects. She argues that the original footage is missing and that the available footage could be manipulated. The judge accepts the reasoning and dismisses the evidence.
Alexis continues to grill Dante on how they were focused on Willow rather than Michael, who has clear motives for the crime. After Dante, Turner summons Kristina to the stand.
