Update<\/strong> (Oct. 21, 2025): Persona 3 Reload is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and it\u2019s a joy getting to experience the game portably again. Atlus has delivered a really solid port, with its production value and visual flair coming over unscathed (although ray-tracing has been removed). Playing in native resolution in handheld mode, the game looks great and runs mostly at 30 frames per second, although there are occasionally framepacing issues that players get used to over time (hopefully, these will be patched out soon, but it\u2019s a turn-based game so these aren\u2019t dealbreakers either way). <\/p>\n The biggest advantage of the Switch 2 port is that you can play it on the go. This is quite the lengthy game, so being able to play it during transit or during your downtime is a huge advantage over having to play it on a TV all the time. The floor-based dungeons and calendar structure of the game make it a great fit for smaller gaming sessions, so you\u2019ll always feel like you\u2019re chipping away at making some progress even if you only have 15 minutes to spare. If you haven\u2019t checked it out yet, the Switch 2 port is an easy recommendation of a truly special game.<\/p>\n
