According to 100%, Smartshock is effective across a wide range of speed and impact types.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Giro, one of the most popular helmet brands on Earth, recently released its new Spherical technology, which is a ball-and-socket system that allows an upper shell to rotate on top of a lower shell in order to redirect impact forces away from the head.
