A dripless model can stop the flow when you let go of the trigger.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cutter: <\/strong>A cutter can help you trim the tube nozzle to the size of the bead you want to apply.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seal punch: <\/strong>After you trim the nozzle down, a punch tool can puncture the aluminum seal inside the tube.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High ratio: <\/strong>A good caulking gun should have more thrust in the plunger\u2014this way, your hand won\u2019t get tired as easily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-applying-caulk\">Applying Caulk<\/h2>\n<p>Be sure to use only fresh caulk. When in doubt squeeze a little out and let it dry overnight to see if it hardens properly.
