The long-awaited Godzilla Minus One<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>streaming release date has finally been revealed\u2014though U.S. viewers will be left waiting a little while longer. Toho\u2019s acclaimed Academy Award-winning Kaiju movie is finally making its way to smaller screens via a subscription model, and Amazon Prime Video subscribers in Japan will be able to stream the film very soon.<\/p>\n

When is Godzilla Minus One\u2019s first streaming release date?<\/h2>\n

The Godzilla Minus One streaming release date is May 3, 2024<\/strong>. The film will be available to watch via Amazon Prime Video in Japan only, with a U.S. release having yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

On April 16, 2024, Prime Video Japan\u2019s Twitter handle<\/a> revealed that the movie will be available to stream on the platform on May 3, 2024<\/strong>. The film originally hit theaters in Japan on November 3, 2023, and found its way to the North American theaters on December 1, 2023.<\/p>\n

Following that, it won several awards, including the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects at the 96th<\/sup> Oscars night in March<\/a>. Since its theatrical release, it has taken its time to make it to Amazon Prime Video. But unfortunately for fans in the U.S. and overseas, the Godzilla Minus One streaming release is still limited only to Japan.<\/p>\n

For now, Godzilla Minus One will only begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video Japan on May 3. Prime Video subscribers in the rest of the world have to wait a bit longer as no streaming release date has been allotted for the US and overseas.<\/p>\n
